John Reese: There Will be No Rockstar UPROAR in 2015

For those of you waiting for the lineup to be released for the 2015 Uproar Festival we have some news for you. It isn’t going to happen.

In a recent interview with tour producer John Reese (Mayhem Festival, Vans Warped Tour) revealed there will NOT be a 2015 edition of the Rockstar Uproar tour.
In the interview, Reese stated the following about a potential Rockstar Uproar festival taking place in 2015:

“It doesn’t look like it’s going to happen this year. We just couldn’t get the right acts together. Rock music is tough right now. There’s not a ton of headliners. It takes a lot of money to break rock bands, and with the record labels being where they are, it’s getting tougher and tougher on the rock and metal side to come up with new headliners that make us feel great. That’s the toughest part of the job, finding talent that wants to do it and that makes sense to play on it and draw people in…and the only thing that’s not happening this year is Uproar. Which is sad, but as I stated before we just couldn’t put the right elements together to make it happen.”

So there you have it – no RockstarUPROAR in 2015.
