After the worldwide release of “Karmacode”, the future looks even brighter for Italy’s hottest rock export. LACUNA COIL’s fourth full-length album had a phenomenal first week in the US and Europe by securing the #28 spot on the Billboard Top 200 charts in US, position #2 in UK’s rock album charts, as well as chart entries in Italy, Germany, Austria, France, Spain, Greece, Finland, The Netherlands, UK and even the United Arab Emirates.

Critics hailed the much anticipated release as the group’s most cohesive and all encompassing offering yet, led by the strength of the hit single “Our Truth”, which hit the Top 40 on the US Active Rock radio charts and received massive radio and TV airplay all over Europe. The stunning video clip succeeded in gaining heavy rotation on MTV Italy, Kerrang TV (UK), Scuzz TV (UK), MTV Superrock Scandinavia and MTV Pulse France. “Our Truth” also was on the official national Finnish Airplay charts and received numerous plays during the official “Big Brother” commercial in Finland.

More than 40 magazines and newspapers worldwide, including Tribe (I), Rock One (F), Revolver (US), Sue (FI), Aardschock (NL), Metal Hammer (UK, D, H, PL, GR, I), Rock Hard (D, GR, I), Scream (N), Grupo Correo (E), Rolling Stone (I,), and Terrorizer (UK), featured the band as the main act on their respective covers. Please check to view all of them.

*After wrapping up their summer campaign, The People Now entered Robert Lang Studios with producer Toby Wright (Metallica, Korn, Alice in Chains) at the helm. Their highly anticipated new material is distributed worldwide, and continued with a tour of Italy and Switzerland in 2013. Momentum carried them through their international summer, returning to WA to launch an international musician exchange program called “Bands Beyond Borders,” as well as a selected invite to play Pain in The Grass Festival for the Uproar Tour in September 2013, alongside names such as Avenged Sevenfold, Jane’s Addiction, and Alice in Chains. Their single “One By One” was also featured as Official replay and pre/post game music on Fox Sports Q13 for NFL SuperBowl Champions the Seattle Seahawks in 2014.

The People Now has been a featured band on local Seattle rock radio station 99.9 KISW on multiple occasions, receiving airplay and accolades in support of their efforts as well as press and show announcements in the Seattle Weekly, City of Seattle Office of Film + Music and the Grammy Foundation website.

Examples of projects for charities and non-profits produced in conjunction with their live shows include; a food and donation drive in December of 2010 for Northwest Harvest, a Seattle-based non-profit that feeds those in need in the community; hosting a weekend-long fundraiser for the American Red Cross for Japan tsunami and earthquake relief at the University District Street Fair in May of 2011; and attending various concert events and festivals throughout the summer of 2011 as liaisons to MusiCares, a non-profit organization which is part of the Grammy Foundation that provides critical assistance to musicians in need, culminating in the production of a large-scale fundraising concert event on MusiCares’ behalf in August 2011. In 2013, their 2013 tour of Europe included a concert for the 3rd Annual Layne Staley Tribute in Milano, supporting Theraputic Health Services.
