RED SUN RISING Announce Tour With Sick Puppies

American rock band Red Sun Rising has announced their upcoming U.S. tour with Sick Puppies. The shows with Sick Puppies will kick off on April 26th in Birmingham, AL and wrap up on May 18th in Nashville, TN. Following Red Sun Rising’s debut Top 10 Single “The Otherside“, which reached #1 on the Active/Mainstream Rock radio charts in the U.S. and Canada, the band is ready to embark on their first Canadian tour with Pop Evil and Smashing Satellites. Red Sun Rising will also be performing a number of U.S. festivals this spring and summer.

Rock music should be built to last. Since its genesis, the genre has been all about longevity not a “flavor of the month” or a “flash in the pan.” Whether you go back to the seventies or nineties pillars, the goal was to create something that can be lived with for a lifetime. It still can be that way. Akron, Ohio’s Red Sun Rising proudly carries on that tradition with their full-length debut, Polyester Zeal. The band has been steadily climbing the rock radio charts since and was recently dubbed “New Artist of the Year” at the 2016 Radio Contraband Awards. Their debut single “The Otherside” topped the Active/Mainstream Rock radio charts, making them the only artist in 2015 whose debut single reached number one on the Rock chart. Their second single “Emotionless” is closing in on the Top 15 of Active Rock radio charts.
