USNEA: North American Spring Tour With Ufomammut Confirmed

Following the release of their Relapse Records debut, Random Cosmic Violence, Portland, Oregon’s sludge/doom destroyers, USNEA, have been confirmed as the sole support act for Ufomammut’s upcoming first-ever North American tour this Spring. Guaranteed to be one of the heaviest, cerebrally-pummeling stateside live events of the year, the tour runs from May 13th through June 13th, with USNEA set to inundate dozens of cities, including on several off-tour headlining dates and a leg of shows on the way to rendezvous with Ufomammut, not to mention various regional shows in the coming weeks.

USNEA‘s inconceivably devastating sophomore album Random Cosmic Violence saw release through Relapse in November amidst international critical acclaim, with reactions from journalists as positive as they were blown-away by the LP’s tumultuous output. Recorded and mixed by Jared “Fester” See at Haywire Studios (Nux Vomica, Stoneburner, Rabbits) who supplies additional guitars to the title track, and mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege (Yob, High On Fire, Integrity), through their overwhelming black/occult metal-influenced funeral doom, USNEA has created a classic of the new millennium with Random Cosmic Violence.

In time for the tour, USNEA will have a self-released repress of their self-titled debut LP constructed. Additional details on the repress will be available in the coming weeks preceding the trek.
