Vancouver’s Old Man Canyon hits the road next month for a tour down the West Coast in support of debut EP, Phantoms & Friends. The dark-folk outfit have a sound that blends Coldplay with Edward Sharp & The Magnetic Zeros and Margo & The Nuclear So & Sos (wow, say that three times fast!).

Old Man Canyon is born from the efforts of front man Jett Pace and since the release of Phantoms & Friends earlier this year, the music from the EP has been featured in NBC’s About A Boy, MTV’s Awkward, Showtime’s Shameless and the Bravo series Suits, to name a few.  Last week their song, “Take Me Higher” was featured in Sons of Anarchy. Perez Hilton calls the music, “Moody and melodic” and says, “Old Man Canyon is bringing some freshness with their throwback sound.”
