MOTOR SISTER: Members of ANTHRAX, FATES WARNING, THE CULT Streaming Its First Song

For his fiftieth birthday, Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian wanted one present more than any other – the reunion of one of his favorite unsung heroes, Mother Superior – only he wanted to be a part of the lineup.

“I wanted to cherry-pick a set list of my favorite Mother Superior songs and get these guys together and have the concert at my house,”

Well, one thing led to another which led to another and now we have power packed, star studded, retro rock and roll band that will leave you wanting more and more. 2015 is going to be a great year for the reminiscent retro rock rebel with the rise of  Motor Sisters . The group will be releasing its debut album Ride via Metal Blade on Mar. 10.

Motor Sister consists of guitarist and vocalist Jim Wilson (Mother Superior, ex-Henry Rollins) guitarist Scott Ian (Anthrax), Ian’s wife and vocalist Pearl Aday (daughter of Meat Loaf), drummer John Tempesta (The Cult, ex-White Zombie, etc.) and bassist Joey Vera (Armored Saint, Fates Warning, etc.).

While we eagerly await the arrival of “Ride” have a listen to this, their first of many more amazing tracks to come.
