Louie G’s Important Notice to all…

Louie G’s Important Notice to all…

Founder of Louie G’s and local music and community supporter Louie Galarza recently found out that the City of Fife can just as easily crush your dreams as quickly as you can dream them. Putting in to place a $5,000 condition use permit is not the issue here, it is how it was done that may raise some eyebrows. With little to no warning city officials notified Galarza that he would have to pay a rather substantial amount of money or face loosing his business. This comes after Galarza has raised a reported $700,000.00 in fundraising for the community.

There has been a huge backlash on the city from Louie G supporters. There have been calls to news agencies like “Get Jesse” but the most amazing thing this community of supporters has done has been to rally behind the guy that rallies behind and supports them. They, the community, started a “Go Fund Me” campaign for Galarza in the hopes that they can raise enough money to keep his business open. This is the stuff that dreams are made of… a heartwarming outcry of support for one local man by a whole community of supporters. This dream can come true and you can be a part of it.

“Louie G’s Important Notice to all, via Social media. Louie G’s will be having a hearing with The City of Fife. They are putting a $5,000.00 Conditional Use Permit (Annually) on us, in compliance with their city code. I personally agree with being compliant. But, I’ve been here 7 years. And this is the first time I’ve heard of it. And to be brutally honest. This will put me out of business. Its our slow time of the year. Sunny days equals not so much for hot pizza. I have given the shirt off my back, and so fourth. Just recently, (example) we did a Spaghetti feed for F.M.E. Little League. and raised $12,000.00. And in return we only saw 1 baseball team this year, for team parties. This happens alot. We have done this over and over again for this community. Raising and being involved in over $700,000.00 in fundraising. My local music community, and Local ILWU 23 ( LongShore ) and many of small businesses in Fife have supported me all these years. Well now I say to you. FIGHT FOR LOUIE G’s… If all else fails… I will be asking you all for help, and I never do that, for me. I will sell everything I own outright, to support Local Music, and the businesses that have supported me. I just love feeding people and caring about people. This does not mean the City of Fife, doesn’t want me here. It just means they forgot about the little guy. Believe me, Im a little Fish, in a huge Pond. In Fife.” -Louie Galarza

It’s time for us to give back to him!
