ENTER SHIKARI ANNOUNCE TWO PACIFIC NORTHWEST TOUR DATES: ‘The Mindsweep’ will be released on January 20, 2015

English rock band ENTER SHIKARI reveal their new album The Mindsweep to their fans prior to its release date of January 20, 2015 as they embark on a U.S. headline tour.

“This limbo period… this purgatory… is finally over,” explains frontman Rou Reynolds. “We can present to you all the fruits of adversity. This bastion. This new limb. This lasting record of who we are, and what we stand for, in the year 2015AD. I hope it makes your Tympanic Membrane vibrate and your neurons fire like nothing else before,” he adds.

The album is currently streaming in its entirety here. In addition, the band recently released an animated music video for their iTunes deluxe version bonus track “Slipshod” which was animated by Peter MacAdams (Ren & Stimpy). Head on over to YouTube for your viewing pleasure. Also, the band recently released videos for “The Last Garrison” and “Anaesthetist”.

Enter Shikari formed in England’s Hertfordshire in 2003. They cemented themselves into the global music scene with their unique style of incorporating post-hardcore and heavy metal sub-genres with elements of various electronic genres creating a very distinct sound. To date, all of their albums debuted in the Top 10 on the Official UK Album Chart, including two at #4. Enter Shikari continues to use their music as a vehicle to reach masses while they confront both political and social issues.

The Mindsweep will be released on January 20, 2015. ENTER SHIKARI is Rou Reynolds (vocals), Rory Clewlow (guitar, vocals), Chris Batten (bass), and Rob Rolfe (drums).
