Post-Rock Sextet KLONE Release Drum Playthrough Videos and LÂG Guitars Demos

French post-rock/metal sextet KLONE recently released their new album, Here Comes The Sun via Klonosphere/Pelagic Records. Today, the group is showing off their gear by releasing two drum playthrough videos for their tracks “Gone Up In Flames” and “The Drifter” via DrumMagazine.com, in addition to a special LÂG Guitars gear demo video via GearGods.net.

The drum playthrough videos features drummer Florent Marcadet and were recorded at “Studio de Fleix” by Fabien Devaux, who also handled mixing and mastering. Marcadet uses Pearl Reference Series, Zildjian cymbals, Evans drumheads and Vic Firth drumsticks. Check out the video below.

The guitar demo video presents the band’s new guitar endorsement with LÂG Guitars and features guitarists Guillaume Bernard and Aldrick Guadagnino explaining the technical specs on their LÂG Roxane R1500’s, in addition to demoing an atmospheric track. Watch the video here:

The six talented members of KLONE combine their influences into one cohesive and satisfying progressive stew with mature, otherworldly rock overtones. If you are a fan of Steven WilsonAnathema or even OpethKLONE is a band you should be paying attention to! Order Here Comes The Sun here: http://klonosphere.com/klone/shop/

KLONE’s Here Comes The Sun is self-produced by the band in conjunction with longtime co-producer Francis Castes and sees the band evolve from their heavy metal roots to a more ethereal post-rock sound, without losing one bit of intensity. Driven by heavy riffing as much as by delay-soaked guitar-reverie and careful vocal melodies, melancholia defines the band’s sound while leaving room for a much broader emotional spectrum.

When you take a closer look at KLONE’s discography their progress appears like a logical evolution: each album is unique, and each one has served to make the follow-up less predictable. After releasing the sublime The Dreamer’s Hideaway in 2012 with more progressive outlines, the current incarnation of KLONE offers a new journey, more captivating and meditative than ever. With Here Comes the SunKLONE gives each melody time to unfold, leading the listener to a peculiar universe where the sun is the central theme. Here Comes The Sun gives a whole new dimension to what KLONE have offered before.

With Here Comes The Sun, the band’s songwriting has reached the next level. KLONE have opened for bands like GojiraKing’s X and Orphaned Land, and have played the main stage at Hellfest. Here Comes The Sun is the album that will see KLONE be thrust into the limelight. It’s just too good to be ignored – take a listen, and decide for yourself.
