Official Video – Ninteen by Van Eps

Matt, Van Eps singer-songwriter,  tells us “This song was recorded with our producer Scott Olson at Synergy Studios in Seattle, and it features our good friend Rachel Lerwill singing back up vocals. It showcases another side of Van Eps that people don’t get to see as often. We hope that it  will highlight how versatile we can be. It’s one of my favorite songs I’ve ever written”.

Van Eps producer, Scott Olson, is no stranger to making it big in music. He is the former guitarist for the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Heart and was the producer for bands such as Alice and Chains and The Deftones. This, I will tell you, can’t be disputed, Olsen has taken yet another band, Van Eps. to the brink of stardom.  Van Eps, with the release of this video coupled with the production of this track, could very well catapult themselves into the National Music scene.

We totally get why Matt  says this is one of his favorite songs… This is one of our favorite Van Eps tracks too. He then  goes on to say  “The video was shot with Jamie Chamberlin and Black Dahlia Films at Discovery Park here in Seattle and it features a friend of the band, Gabriela Baiocchi. It was a long day, but we had a great time and we are extremely proud of the final product” Black Dahlia Films is a West Coast visual production company focused on documenting pivotal music talent. Black Dahlia’s Producer/ Director Jamie Burton Chamberlin is an award-winning filmmaker  that  has worked for some of the leading  entertainment companies in Los Angeles such as Dreamworks, FOX, and HBO.  He has produced segments for numerous celebrity clients including ZZ Top, Carmen Electra, Sammy Hagar, Slash, Stevie Vai and most recently Duff McKagan of Gun’s and Roses.

It only takes one listen for you to understand that Van Eps is not going anywhere but up. This track, Nineteen, shows an incredible amount of versatility and puts on full display the lyrical, vocal and instrumental talent of the band from Seattle that boasts having a classic feel with a modern edge.
